Active aging workshops.
Various researches have shown that an active role of the person during aging allows for the prevention of degenerative processes both physically and cognitively.
Therefore, AFAC offers a program in which the different capacities of people are worked on. For the older person, it means receiving professional care, accessing non-pharmacological treatment, and participating in activities that allow them to be active, connected to their environment, and to establish a social network.
Promoting their participation in their environment in order to prevent or slow down a possible cognitive and/or physical deterioration and consequently achieve and/or maintain autonomy and good quality of life.
